Minor League Music was founded in 2009 even though the ingredients were there since back in 1999. The main artist on MLM is J Trey, but we will also be serving up solo projects from Jasmine Terrell and JT in the future. After working with several indie labels, managers, publicists, and industry types in the past, I figured what the hell, might as well have my own label, u know?... I really always had, this just makes it official...and with the ever changing music industry, being on a label and/or getting a "record deal" is pretty much obsolete. Now that everyone has their own label and half the people you run into are rappers or singers, things are certainly different. Anyone can make music but it takes a different kind of talent to get the music heard...and to start with it better be good music. Not just good, but different, unique, fresh. I hope to continue to deliver quality R&B/Hip Hop music from the heartland in the future, thanks for listening. - JT
